Rehab Yoga
 

This Class is designed for someone who is recovering from lack of exercise and movement, recovering from disease, injury or surgery. This class gives your body a chance to heal, while giving you the physiological boost you need to move forward in your recovery. Rehab Yoga is done on a Yoga ball to allow the participant to sit in a relaxed position while gently stretching. This class also incorporates breathing, relaxation and Meditation.

Schedule for Gentle Yoga is Monday and Wednesday morning 9:30 - 10:30 AM.
$10.00 per class or $50.00 per month.
* Gentle yoga is not available in the summer and the last class is May 29th. Classes resume August 5th
.

Yoga is described as healing of injuries and diseases, concentration and mental discipline, stress reduction, spiritual practice.

The ancient texts of yoga are practical and surprisingly modern! They are universal techniques-applicable to all. Anyone can benefit from this discipline. There are various approaches to yoga. One personality type might approach yoga through study and knowledge of the ancient texts, another might choose the avenue of devotion, or of service, or through mastery of the body. Most important is the desire to grow, to enhance one's life-to see clearly, and at every moment to act unregrettably.
