Power Pilates with a Ball

The Pilates exercise ball is incredible, in increasing flexibility, range of motion, balance and coordination. You can sculpt and tone your abdominal and back muscles using a yoga ball, medicine ball and light weights. The Pilates ball is ideal for training your arms, chest, and buttocks in addition to the targeted abdominal and back muscles. The Pilates ball primary effect is to gain tone and strength all over your body. It specifically emphasizes your core muscles. The benefit of strengthening these muscles increase the ability to walk, run, jump, and even sleep better than you have been. Because this class is designed to strengthen the entire body we incorporate floor exercises and light weights for a toned lean body.

Yoga

Yoga is described as healing of injuries and diseases, concentration and mental discipline, stress reduction, spiritual practice.

The ancient texts of yoga are practical and surprisingly modern! They are universal techniques-applicable to all. Anyone can benefit from this discipline. There are various approaches to yoga. One personality type might approach yoga through study and knowledge of the ancient texts, another might choose the avenue of devotion, or of service, or through mastery of the body. Most important is the desire to grow, to enhance one's life-to see clearly, and at every moment to act un-regrettably.

To get the most powerful body physically and mentally combine both of these classes in our combo class every Monday evening and every other Saturday morning. Our students have seen magnificent results in strength and flexibility. Students are practicing meditation for the first time. Their minds are completely open to relaxing after the rigorous work out. The great thing is that this class can be customized to meet the needs of beginners, intermediate and more advanced Pilates and Yoga practitioners.

  • Monday 6:15-7:45 combo class of Pilates for 45 minutes and Yoga for 45 minutes.
  • Wednesday 6:15-7:15 Power ball Pilates only
  • Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month Powerball Pilates and Yoga combo class
    10:00 AM- 11:30AM

    Classes are $10.00 or $50.00 a month
